At DeLaado, our goal is to create a safe, reliable, and enjoyable food ordering experience for our users, restaurant partners, and delivery partners. We encourage honest interactions, transparency, and fair use of our platform. To maintain a high standard of service and protect our community, we have established these guidelines and policies.
By using DeLaado, you agree to comply with these policies. Violating them may result in restricted access, content removal, account suspension, or termination.
Content Guidelines
1. Honest and Constructive Reviews
We welcome your feedback on restaurant experiences, but reviews must be genuine and based on actual experiences. Do not post misleading, exaggerated, or fake reviews. Reviews with offensive language, hate speech, or personal attacks will be removed.
2. Keep it Relevant
Reviews and comments should be about food quality, restaurant service, and delivery experience. Irrelevant content, promotional messages, or off-topic discussions are not allowed.
3. Avoid Spamming and Promotions
Posting multiple reviews for the same restaurant, copying others' reviews, or self-promotion is not allowed. Soliciting free meals or incentives in exchange for positive reviews is strictly prohibited.
4. Photo Guidelines
Users can upload photos of their food, restaurant ambiance, and packaging to enhance the ordering experience. However, the following types of images will be removed:
- Blurry or unclear images
- Duplicate photos from multiple angles
- Watermarked, promotional, or unrelated content
- Photos of half-eaten meals or food under preparation
- Images containing offensive or inappropriate content
5. Respect Privacy and Intellectual Property
Do not share personal information of individuals, including restaurant staff and delivery partners. Plagiarized content, stolen images, or any copyrighted materials should not be posted.
User Code of Conduct
6. Be Respectful
DeLaado is a community-driven platform. We expect users to treat others—including restaurant staff, delivery partners, and fellow users—with courtesy and respect. Harassment, threats, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
7. Accurate Information
Ensure that all details you provide, including delivery addresses, phone numbers, and payment information, are accurate. Incorrect details may lead to delayed or failed deliveries, for which DeLaado is not responsible.
8. Fair Use Policy
Users must not exploit the platform by repeatedly placing and canceling orders, misusing promotional offers, or engaging in fraudulent activities. Violations may result in account suspension.
Restaurant Partner Guidelines
9. Maintain Accurate Information
Restaurant partners must ensure that menu details, pricing, and availability are up-to-date. Any misleading information may result in action against the listing.
10. No Fake Reviews or Incentivized Ratings
Restaurants are prohibited from posting fake reviews, incentivizing customers to leave positive feedback, or using third parties to manipulate ratings.
11. Adherence to Food Safety Standards
All restaurant partners must comply with local food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Failure to do so may result in removal from the platform.
Delivery Partner Guidelines
12. Timely and Professional Service
Delivery partners must complete orders promptly and professionally. Repeated delays or unprofessional behavior, such as mishandling food, can lead to termination of service.
13. Respect Customers and Restaurant Staff
Delivery personnel should communicate politely with customers and restaurant staff. Rude behavior, inappropriate comments, or unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated.
14. No Tampering with Orders
Delivery partners must ensure that food packaging remains sealed and tamper-free. Any complaints regarding tampered food will be investigated, and strict action will be taken.
Violation Consequences
DeLaado reserves the right to take appropriate action against users, restaurant partners, or delivery partners who violate these policies. Actions may include:
- Content moderation (removal of reviews, comments, or images)
- Temporary or permanent account suspension
- Legal action in severe cases of fraud or misconduct
