• Order & Preference Information: Items ordered from restaurants or DeTaaza (fruits, vegetables, groceries, dairy, meat), delivery time slot selections, order notes, and substitution preferences.
• Location Data: Precise and approximate GPS location data collected from your device while using the app to identify nearby restaurants, confirm serviceability in your area, and facilitate accurate delivery navigation.
• Device & Usage Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, crash logs, and app interaction analytics.
• Account & Auth Information: Phone OTP verification records, email credentials, or Google OAuth account profile data (when logging in with Google).

3. Payment Information

All online payment processing is handled securely by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (including Razorpay and PayU). DeLaado does not store or process sensitive card numbers, CVVs, or net banking passwords on its servers. For Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions, cash is collected directly by our authorized Delivery Partners at your doorstep.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Order Fulfillment: Communicating order details to Restaurant Partners, DeTaaza warehouse pickers, and Delivery Partners for timely preparation, packaging, and delivery.
• Customer Support: Responding to order inquiries, managing cancellations, processing refunds, and resolving grievances.
• Communications & Alerts: Sending real-time SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, or emails regarding order status, delivery arrival, OTP authentication, and account updates.
• Platform Improvement & Personalization: Recommending relevant culinary choices and grocery essentials based on your order history and location.
• Fraud Prevention & Safety: Preventing unauthorized transactions, abusive cancellations, and fake accounts.

5. Sharing Your Information

We respect your privacy and only share your information with trusted third parties strictly when necessary:

• Restaurant & Sourcing Partners: Sharing customer names, item lists, and delivery instructions needed to prepare your meals or pack specific produce.
• Delivery Personnel: Sharing your name, delivery address, and contact number so the assigned delivery partner can locate and deliver your order.
• Payment Gateways: Sharing transaction amounts and identifiers with Razorpay and PayU to process secure payments.
• Legal Authorities: Disclosing information when required by applicable laws, statutory summons, or law enforcement requests.

6. Data Retention & Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational security measures, including SSL encryption, tokenized authentication, and restricted database access, to protect your personal data. We retain your personal details for as long as your account remains active and retain transaction/order history as required to fulfill statutory tax, commercial, and FSSAI record-keeping regulations.

7. Account Deletion & User Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account information. You can request permanent account deletion anytime by visiting our Delete Account Page or emailing us at support@delaado.in. Once verified, your personal identification records will be deleted, except where retention is legally mandated.
